Shadow Straight Load Trailers are extra wide, extra tall - include a durable all aluminum frame, aluminum skin, extruded interlocking aluminum plank floors (with integrated cross members every 6 inches), smooth-riding torsion axles, electric brakes, and heavy duty radial tires. All of this keeps your trailer and precious cargo safe as you go down the road, but the features that make it comfortable for your horse and convenient for you is what truely seperates Shadow from the other Horse Trailer Manufacturers.

Lined and insulated ceiling and the walls of the horse area are lined and insulated - The insulation is good for keeping the trailer comfortable, but it also contributes to quietness. Since these interior surfaces are white and accompanied by extra large stall, nose, dressing room, and rear windows, Shadow Trailers are bright and inviting (as well as well ventilated)
The padded stall divider and post are removable. The chest and butt bars are padded and have easy-to-use hardware. (Don’t take quick or easy-to-use for granted!) A head divider and vents over the stalls are standard, as are mats on the walls and floor. The escape doors on Shadow’s Pro series models are some of the widest we've ever seen.
The Shadow ramp is very easy to lift, thanks to an effective spring assist. The woven mat ramp covering is very grippy, even in wet conditions. Bright, reliable LED tail & marker lights are standard, locks are standard on escape and dressing room doors and even the ramp latches are lockable. The trailer shown here is equipped with the optional extra tall ramp (no charge), spare tire and striping package. We like to refer to Shadow as “the premium trailer at a not-so-premium” price. Shadows are well made, nicely finished, well equipped and very reasonably priced.
