The Backbone Of Shadow Trailers

Long before Shadow became a recognized name on roads, ranches, showgrounds, and dealerships nationwide, Larry’s life was rooted in the horse industry. He grew up riding and showing horses and passed that passion on to his family. His daughters were raised around horses, shows, and the daily work of the lifestyle, gaining experience across disciplines like cutting, reining, barrel racing, halter, trail, and pleasure.

For Larry, horses weren’t a hobby — they were a way of life.

That experience shaped Shadow’s foundation. Larry understood horse people because he was one. He knew what mattered when hauling horses, livestock, tack, equipment, and family. He understood the long days, early mornings, and miles on the road — and the trust placed in a trailer every time it leaves the driveway.

His vision was simple: build trailers made by horse people, for horse people.
From the start, Shadow was built on more than aluminum and craftsmanship — it was built on relationships. Larry believed in standing behind the product, listening to customers, supporting dealers, and creating something dependable enough to carry the Shadow name with pride.

What began as one man’s vision grew into a company grounded in hard work, innovation, and family. As Shadow expanded into horse trailers, livestock, pen trailers, living quarters, and toy haulers, its foundation remained the same. Every trailer reflects the belief that people deserve something that works hard, lasts long, and makes an impact.
